Who we are: Our members are organizations and technical experts — including grassroots activists, community leaders, scientists, health professionals, business leaders, lawyers, and farmworker advocates — committed to principled collaboration to advance a nontoxic, sustainable, and just world for all.
How we organize: Our 7 teams hold regular virtual meetings to collaborate on campaigns, research, policy and grassroots capacity building. The Coming Clean network also convenes monthly to discuss cross-cutting issues and opportunities for broader alignment among environmental health and justice organizations who share our goals.
Join the network: If you are an individual or organization interested in becoming a member of the Coming Clean network, please first review our organizational principles and our platform, the Louisville Charter for Safer Chemicals, to ensure that our vision and organizing process seem like a good match for you.
Then reach out to our Programs Associate, Michael Aguilar (maguilar@comingcleaninc.org) with a brief answer to these questions: What interests you about the Coming Clean Network? What do you hope to bring to the collaborative? What do you hope to gain?
Member organizations are expected to have at least one dedicated staff member, organizer, or volunteer from their organization who will serve as their organization’s liaison to the Coming Clean network. This person will be expected to complete a brief onboarding process and to be included in Coming Clean’s membership directory.
